TALLAHASSEE — Governor-Elect Charlie Crist, today announced additional members to serve in his administration.

“Each of these individuals brings talent and creativity to my administration,” said Governor-elect Crist. “I appreciate their commitment to public service and look forward to working with them and the rest of our team as we continue to improve the quality of life for Floridians.”

Executive Office of the Governor appointments announced today include:

Chanta G. Combs, Policy Director: Ms. Combs most recently served as Policy Director in the Crist-Kottkamp Campaign and currently serves as Transition Policy Director. She served as assistant general counsel and deputy policy director for Governor Jeb Bush. Additionally, Ms. Combs practiced law in the private sector for more than 5 years prior to her public service. She received her Bachelors degree in English and her law degree from Florida State University.

Erin M. Isaac, Press Secretary: Ms. Isaac served as Deputy Press Secretary for the Crist/Kottkamp campaign and currently serves as Transition Press Secretary. She previously served as Director of Communications for the Duval County Supervisor of Elections and Speech Writer for Commander Navy Region Southeast. Ms. Isaac served as convention director for the Duval County 2004 Mock Convention, a democracy project for more than 1,000 high school and college students. Ms. Isaac earned her Bachelors degrees in Communications and Political Science from the University of North Florida.

Vivian Myrtetus, Communications Director: Ms. Myrtetus served as Press Secretary for the Crist-Kottkamp campaign since last November and currently serves as Transition Communications Director. Before joining the campaign, Myrtetus worked as Deputy Communications Director for the Office of the Attorney General, Communications Director for the Department of Education, and served as spokesperson for the Florida Department of Agriculture. Prior to that, she managed communications programs for public and privately-held companies and worked more than a decade in broadcast television news. Ms. Myrtetus received her Bachelors degree in Communications from San Francisco State University.

Kelley Smith, Director of Scheduling: Ms. Smith served as Director of Scheduling for the Crist-Kottkamp campaign and currently serves as Transition Scheduling Director. She previously served as the Northwest Florida Field Director for the Florida Department of Education. She served under the Bush administration as Assistant to the Director of Scheduling. Ms. Smith received her Bachelors degree in History from Florida State University and her Masters in Public Policy from Pepperdine University.
